Ek Niranjan is a 2009 Telugu film starring Prabhas and Kangana Ranaut in lead roles. The film is directed by Puri Jagannadh. The film has been shot on a specially erected set in Hyderabad and shot in Bangkok and the songs have been shot in Switzerland. The film revolves around Chotu (Prabhas), who is a bounty hunter getting criminals to the police in exchange for money and how he reunites with his parents he never got to meet due to the fact he was kidnapped. After having killed the notorious drug dealer Mayil Vaaganam, Duraisingam (Suriya) has gone undercover after meeting the Home Minister and is working as an NCC officer in a school in Thoothukudi. The only people who know about this operation are the Chief Minister and Home Minister apart from himself. Sathya (Hansika Motwani) is a student who falls for Duraisingam though he is waiting to marry Kavya (Anushka Shetty), his love interest from the previous film. Susai (Santhanam), a local who works in the same school shows Duraisingam parts of Thoothukudi and also tells him about the rouge elements dominating the area helping him in his surveillance. He requests the Home Minister to transfer Erimalai (Vivek) and another cop for assisting him. Sathya's moves are frequently repulsed by Duraisingam who learns that Sathya is the niece of Thangaraj (Rahman). Bhai (Mukesh Rishi) and Thangaraj, are two criminals who control the area. Bhai and Thangaraj have connections with an international gangster and drug lord Danny (Danny Sapani).

The movie opens with an unknown person killing Minister Rawat's brother Taxi Set and his henchmen thus saving three men. Rawat orders a CBI Officer to catch the criminal so that he may kill that killer. The scene shifts to Hyderabad where Cherry is a software engineer in CgTrix. He has an uncle named Jilebi, who unexpectedly runs into trouble and angers the local Don Gandi Babji. Cherry hatches a plan to save Jilebi from Babji and succeeds but falls for Babji's sister Madhu in the process. Though Madhu initially rejects him, after his act of saving children from a mafia don, she reciprocates his love. This angers Babji and he goes to kill him but gets shocked seeing Cherry assassinating the DGP of West Bengal. As fate would have it, at this point, the CBI Officer finds out that Cherry is responsible for the two murders, who is innocent in reality. The Story is about Ramachandran a genetic scientist who doesn't get due credit and funds for his research. The film starts with Alex Pandian and Divya jumping of a train in an attempt to escape the goons who are seeking to kill them. Three days later, Alex enters Kaalayan's house with many comedy scenes. Alex changes his mind and decides to save Divya. The film shifts back to the present and by now, Divya has fallen in love with Alex. As fate would have it, the goons arrive at their hiding place. The film ends with Alex killing the villains and reuniting with Divya.

Filming ended on 10 December 2011 in 74 working days, one of the shortest periods in which a Telugu film has been shot.

Rajaram (Venkatesh) is the son of Raghuram (Naga Babu), an investigative journalist in a United Nations agency. He infiltrates the criminal organization of Nana Bhai (Aditya Pancholi) and earns his trust.
